Vendor Listing Guidelines - 40 Minutes Fix

Welcome to 40minutesfix.com! We want every vendor to provide accurate, trustworthy and professional listings. Please read these guidelines before submitting products, properties, vehicles or services.

1. General Listing Requirements

Every listing must:

Have a clear and accurate title.
Include a detailed and honest description.
Be placed in the correct category.
Show the correct price or clearly state when the price is negotiable.
Include accurate contact information.
Use clear, relevant photographs.
Avoid misleading information or false advertising.

2. Product Listings

When uploading products:

Provide the correct product name, brand and model.
Describe the product’s condition accurately (new or used).
State the correct selling price.
Provide accurate stock quantities.
Include available delivery or collection information.
Do not advertise products you cannot supply.

3. Fashion Products – Sizes and Colours

Fashion vendors should clearly specify available options.

Available sizes may include:
S, M, L, XL and XXL.

Available colours may include:
Black, White, Red, Blue and other available colours.

Important: Until automatic product variations are available, vendors must list all available sizes and colours in the product description and confirm the customer’s preferred size and colour before processing the order.

Where product variations are supported:

Assign the correct price to each variation.
Maintain accurate stock for each size and colour.
Use the correct product image where possible.
Update availability when stock changes.

4. Product Images and Copyright

Vendors must only upload images they own or have permission to use.

Do not copy photographs from other vendors without permission.
Do not use copyrighted images without authorization.
Do not upload misleading or unrelated photographs.
Ensure images accurately represent the product.
Do not use another business’s logo or branding in a misleading way.

By submitting a listing, you confirm that you have the right to use all uploaded images.

Important: 40 Minutes Fix reserves the right to remove listings containing unauthorized, misleading or stolen images. Repeated violations may result in listing restrictions or suspension of the vendor’s account.

5. Property Listings

Property vendors must:

Provide accurate property locations.
State whether the property is for rent, lease or sale.
Include correct prices and relevant fees.
Provide genuine photographs of the property.
Describe the number of rooms and facilities accurately.
Have authority to advertise the property.
Ensure the property is genuinely available and update the listing promptly if it is rented, sold or no longer available.

False property advertisements and misleading ownership claims are prohibited.

6. Vehicle Listings

Vehicle vendors must:

Provide the correct make, model and year.
State the vehicle’s actual condition.
Provide accurate mileage where applicable.
Include genuine vehicle photographs.
Disclose significant known faults.
Have authorization to advertise the vehicle.
Ensure the vehicle is genuinely available and update the listing promptly if it is sold, no longer available or its condition changes.

7. Services and Transport Listings

Service providers and transport operators must:

Clearly describe the service offered.
Provide accurate prices or explain how quotations are calculated.
State the areas they serve.
Provide valid contact information.
Clearly explain booking and payment arrangements.
Maintain professional communication with customers.
Clearly state whether transport services are available for immediate hire, scheduled trips or advance bookings.
Update service availability, operating hours and contact details whenever they change.

8. Prohibited Listings

The following are not permitted:

Fraudulent or deceptive listings.
Stolen or counterfeit goods.
Illegal products or services.
False property or vehicle advertisements.
Misleading prices or descriptions.
Unauthorized use of another person’s photographs.
Listings intended to scam, harass or deceive customers.
Weapons, controlled substances, hazardous materials and any other goods or services prohibited by applicable Ghanaian law.

9. Vendor Responsibilities

Every vendor is responsible for:

Keeping listings accurate and up to date.
Responding professionally to customer enquiries.
Honouring advertised prices and agreed transactions.
Updating sold-out products.
Handling customer complaints responsibly.
Following applicable laws and marketplace policies.
Keep product stock levels and service availability accurate to avoid accepting orders that cannot be fulfilled.
Protect customers’ personal information and use it only for legitimate transactions and communication related to their orders or enquiries.

10. Listing Review and Enforcement

40 Minutes Fix reserves the right to review, reject, hide or remove listings that violate marketplace policies.

Repeated or serious violations may result in restrictions or suspension of vendor accounts, subject to applicable platform procedures.
